Sometimes a dish is so simple and yet it’s pure genius. A fresh burst of citrus really brightens up this little forest.
Serves: 4-6
12 oz. frozen broccoli florets
12 oz. frozen cauliflower florets
2 lemons, sliced
5 cloves garlic, crushed
1⁄4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
1⁄4 teaspoon dried garlic flakes
1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
2. In a 2-gallon zip-top bag, mix broccoli, cauliflower, lemons, crushed garlic, oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and garlic flakes. Pour onto the prepared baking sheet and spread out in a single layer.
3. Roast for 30 minutes.
