Caramelized Onion and Deli Braid

Getting A little bored of the typical shabbos day side dishes? He’s a new one! I know it looks little complicated to make but in reality it’s quite simple! Just sauté the deli onions and add brown sugar place it on puff pastry braid and bake! It really is simple! No doubt your family and friends will love this recipe! Recipe: 1 package of pastrami deli 1 package of turkey deli circle 1 tablespoon brown sugar 2 small onions (or 1 medium) 1 large square puff pastry dough 2 tablespoons duck sauce (more for coating) Slice the onions into small thin strips, slice the deli into small thin strips, sauté the onions then set them aside and sauté the deli. Add the brown sugar and the onions into the pan. Sauté. Once everything is sautéed shut the flame. Roll out the puff pastry dough on parchment paper, to be a nice big square or rectangle. Use a pastry cutter to cut diagonal lines (about 7 or 8) on each side across from each other leaving the middle of the dough not cut. Smear duck sauce on the center of the dough. Add the sautéed mix. Braid the dough. Brush with duck sauce. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 350° for about 40 minutes until it’s golden brown. Enjoy!
