Fluffy, comforting, and full of nostalgic flavor—matzo balls are a classic that never goes out of style. For me, they’re more than just soup fillers—they’re one of my favorite foods and little bites of tradition that bring everyone to the table. This recipe is simple, reliable, and always hits the spot.
Recipe: (This recipe is from my mother)
1 cup matzo meal
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
Mix all the ingredients together, refrigerate for 30 minutes. Boil a pot of water, Form the matzo ball mix into balls and drop them into the boiling water ( bare in mind they grow!). Cook for 20 minutes on low flame. Shut the flame and cover the pot and let them sit.
